Hey so #Covid gave me high blood pressure and it got so bad I ended up in the ER this weekend. I am now on a diuretic and must carefully mind hydration/electrolytes. The ER Dr said Covid can do crazy things to the human body and no one knows how/why. Hoping this is just a temporary thing. I am super tired and just want to nap but my heart no longer feels like it is running a marathon at full blast, and my mind is clearer (yay!!). I don't fit any of the high blood pressure recommendations though, that's why this is so weird, I have perfect cholesterol thanks to being vegan for decades, at a healthy weight, stay fit, don't smoke or drink, am a vegetable eating machine, don't eat fast food, etc. I even got the latest Covid vaccine in November, avoid crowds aside from the occasional grocery store run, + at work mostly interact with people outdoors where there is great air flow. Felt great on March 1st and really sick on March 2nd and am just now getting better. Anyway be careful out there.
