Even replacement stock controller. Chu 朱<p>It's unreal that the obstacle on getting an e cargo bike is lack of insurance.</p><p>Existing home insurance will only cover up to $2k.<br>I tried switching home insurers but no dice. cybervegan<p>EDIT 19/2/2025 This is now fixed. </p><p>To any <a href="https://autistics.life/tags/ebike" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ebike</span></a> techs out there on the Fedi - My e-bike's controller seems to have failed, and whilst I can find oodles of cheap replacement units on ebay or aliexpress, they all have extra inputs or outputs that my original doesn't. A lot of the ones available online show the labels for the wires with nonsense wording like "1:1 get help sensor", "since the study", or "turn the line". I've so far failed to find any technical manuals or better details, and I need to get my bike fixed as I use it to get to work and shops. I *should* be volunteering at the local <a href="https://autistics.life/tags/repaircafe" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>repaircafe</span></a> today, but I was going to ride up there... I can give details of what I have if anyone is able to help.
