Asking for help, please boost

Hi friends,

I've got to the point where my debt is affecting my quality of life massively, I can no longer deal with the strain its putting on my health both mentally and physically.

I've set up a GoFundMe page for anyone who can help, which you can find here with more explanation:

gofundme.com/f/help-relieve-ti

You can also donate via

Paypal: paypal.com/paypalme/dockers

or

CashApp:
£SDockers

& I'll add as an offline donation.

Any help at all, and boosts, appreciated 💛

We aimed to raise £500 in the first month, and we're now £101 short with a few days to go... 🤞

£500 done! Can we get to £750?

I'm so appreciative of all this help 💛

Just posted an update on the GoFundMe if anyone is interested 💛

Our landlord told us today he wants to sell the house. We're going to struggle to get anywhere else with this debt.

Please please help if you can

Even if by some miracle there's someone who could lend it and I'll pay it back monthly, it means it won't go against my credit record then

@dockers hopefully it takes him a while to sell it. <3

@maloki he said we'll have at least 6 months. but how am I gonna pay debt by then???

@dockers I just mean that you have time to figure something out, and find worst case scenario backup plans.

@maloki just don't want to end up having to live apart 😭

@dockers @maloki is there a reason you can’t rent something else?

money

@dockers @maloki ugh :( Do you not make enough money to rent anything or is the debt that they look at?

money

@moiety @maloki its usually a combination of credit score and debt, but maybe they look at the debt cos my credit score is low? It should be improved in 6 months because I haven't applied for more credit in a long time and all my payments have been on time too, but its just luck! I've posted on facebook groups asking if there are any private landlords with properties as that may be scored differently. I'm just so stressed with this debt hanging over me

money

@moiety @maloki I'm paying £500 a month off it which is almost half my salary, I can't afford any more than that. But then almost £200 goes back on in interest, and I can't get a lower rate 😪

money

@dockers @maloki holy heck what is your rate atm‽

money

@moiety @maloki I don't even know, it doesn't tell me when I log in! I remember it being the lowest I could get x

money

@moiety @maloki oh wait, it does. 17.2% apparently x

money, negativity

@dockers @maloki holy fuck… That’s outrageous.

Does the UK/your municipality have programmes to help in these situations? I once raked up around nine grand of debt and they helped me pay it off with low interest. Still took me years but at least I wasn’t paying off interest only.

money, negativity

@moiety @maloki they do but it goes on a public register and basically blacklists you from everything for 5 years so it would be back to square one and nobody renting to us! If we could get a mortgage it would be half of what we pay now monthly for rent. The trouble is you need a deposit 🥲
